- The sweetest cherries and strawberries. In May, the season for these berries is in full swing.
- Variety of colours and aromas. The streets of cities and parks are simply immersed in a colourful array of trees and bushes: bougainvillea, ixora, tulip trees, acacias... Every step is a perfect Instagrammable spot.

TOP IDEAS FOR MAY ON THE ANTALYA COAST
Did you know that the Mediterranean Sea is called the "cradle of civilizations" because hundreds of civilizations have emerged on its shores over thousands of years? Just consider Lycia on the modern Antalya coast. These lands bear the traces of Alexander the Great and Mark Antony, here pirates once found refuge, and Roman emperors established their winter residences. We've prepared a to-do list for you to transport yourself to those distant times and experience modern Turkish vibes.
- Embark on a cruise along Turkey's largest artificial lake, the Green Canyon. Imagine the serene turquoise waters surrounded by towering cliffs covered in pine forests, through which mountain rivers flow. Just like the Norwegian fjords!
- Try rafting through the Köprülü Canyon. It's a real treat for adrenaline junkies, water sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers alike. The route passes through the Taurus Mountains with incredible scenery and authentic villages. Plus, enjoy a picnic overlooking the ancient Oluk Bridge, nearly 2000 years old!
- Feel like a hero of a trendy travel show on an unforgettable safari adventure. Seen the Taurus Mountains from the water? How about continuing your adventures and conquering the slopes on jeeps, ATVs, or buggies? It's the perfect way to get more adrenaline and immerse yourself in the life and culture of Turkish mountain villages.
- Visit the ancient settlements of Myra, Demre, and Kekova. This is where the real residence of Saint Nicholas, who was the bishop of Myra, was located. In Demre, you can still see a 4th-century church dedicated to the Wonderworker. And in these territories, traditional Lycian rock tombs, resembling cliff cities, have been preserved, along with a huge amphitheater where the acoustics are still so great that you can hear what's being said even from the upper rows. Would you like to check?
- Taste trout from the Manavgat River. Fishermen from other countries come to Manavgat to catch something interesting. We suggest you try it too, or at least visit the eponymous waterfall and taste trout from a local farm.
- Take a stroll through the labyrinth of streets in the Old Town of Kaleiçi in Antalya. Admire the colorful houses with red-tiled roofs, and ancient mosques from the Ottoman Empire, and watch the sunset from the top of the ancient Roman Hıdırlık Tower.
- Enjoy Turkish tea with baklava and try kebabs or balık ekmek (a traditional fish sandwich) at a restaurant on Turkey's longest promenade, Konyaaltı.
- Spend a day at the Land of Legends theme park. It's over 60 hectares of attractions and entertainment: a water park, an amusement park, one of the largest circus tents in Europe, costume parades of favorite cartoon characters for children, hot air balloon rides, and exciting shows. No wonder it's called the "Turkish Disneyland".
