The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort

Marriott International intends to open Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort, the first of Westin Resorts, to be launched in Maldives.The resort is being developed on the private island of Miriandhoo (Miriandhoo island). The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort is designed by Italian studio Peia Associati and will integrate with inventive architecture and stylish interiors featuring exquisite local materials. Wood from neighboring countries will complete the exterior trim and frames, including the lightweight structural part of the double skin building. These natural hides will have an innovative organic shape and provide natural ventilation, as well as lighter natural hides and comfortable shading. Located in the first and only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort will feature 70 luxury villas and suites featuring the signature Westin Heavenly bed for a perfect night's sleep. The resort will also feature a world-class fully equipped fitness studio, Westin Workout and Heavenly by Westin Spa, with amenities and services that effectively relax and rejuvenate. The ultra-modern fitness center is capable of supporting and maximizing the workout routine for guests, with a world-class wellness studio, Gear Lending with New Balance and local maps.
